My 2013 New Year's resolution is to get my camera off of auto mode so, I'm hoping, this project will be a way to stretch my photography and the way I look at the world around me.

A hummingbird in my parents' backyard. It had fallen out of its nest so my niece was taking care of it until it got strong enough to fly away.
